  • 61 typescript pages, numbered 1-61, edited and annotated by Carter, most pages are crossed through (cancelled)
  • 11 manuscript pages, not numbered, notes to typescript pages
  • Original title "An Autobiographical Preface", "Preface" is crossed through and replaced by "Sketch"
  • Incorporated into the preceding manuscript
