This material was sent to the Griffith Institute by Mr Walter Hauser from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, in 1955.

Howard Carter's manuscript notes on ancient Near Eastern measurements, including measuring rods, most in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo.
The cubit rods are recorded as follows:
