This material was sent to the Griffith Institute by Mr Walter Hauser from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, in 1955.

Howard Carter's manuscript excavation records, for pit tomb P.1 (Carter "M.P.1"), including tomb section, and listing objects found including coffin (destroyed by white ants) and headrest, also mentions two other burials in this part of the cemetery, Carnarvon-Carter excavations, Group P, Cemetery, Meir.
