This material was sent to the Griffith Institute by Mr Walter Hauser from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, in 1955.

Howard Carter's photographs (of the same object?), extruded material, Carter tomb 82, Carnarvon-Carter excavations, Dra Abu el-Naga, Thebes.
Probably that described by Carter in the record for Carter tomb 82, as 'An interesting discovery in this chamber was a piece of glue, fresh from the manufactory, belonging evidently to the ancient workmen'.
