The original documentation was in the possession of the owner of a property adjacent to The Larches (the Braysher/Edwards residence), who intended to donate the documents to the Bristol Records Office after the sale of the owner's current property, c. 2006.
Immediate source of acquisition or transfer
The photocopies of the original documentation were provided by Sue Giles, Curator of Ethnography and Foreign Archaeology, City Museum and Art Gallery, Bristol, in March 2006.

Photocopies of papers relating to the estate of Ellen Drew Braysher, owner of The Larches, Westbury on Trym, Gloucestershire, which were issued after Braysher's death, with a summary of accounts outstanding at that time. Amelia Edwards, who resided with Mrs Braysher from 1864(?) onwards, was the beneficiary of Braysher's estate.
