The rest of the Žába/Černý correspondence created between the 1950s and 1970 was returned to Žába and later donated by his family to the Czech Institute of Egyptology in Prague. The letters concern the establishment of the Czechoslovak Institute of Egyptology in the 1950s, Žába's sojourns in Egypt, expeditions to Abusir and Nubia, and plans for Černý's visit to Czechoslovakia (1967).
