  • No. 33: ‘Statue of Tutankhamen’.
  • Painted version based on a Harry Burton photograph, probably Burton p0320 or p0321.
  • Upper part of one of the so-called 'sentinel' or 'guardian' statues of Tutankhamun (Carter 22), in situ in the antechamber of the king's tomb, Valley of the Kings, Egypt.

  • Cigarette tin.
  • Produced by "Nestor Gianaclis, Grande Manufacture de Cigarettes Egyptiennes".
  • Branded "Toutankhamon".
  • Transfer(?) print decoration, with ancient Egyptian motifs including a scene of Anubis kneeling before the king.
  • Probably manufactured in the 1920s.

  • Opaque dark blue-coloured pressed glass, design highlighted in light green.
  • Silver tone suspension ring and chain (not original).

  • Tutankhamun-related jewellery element.
  • Rectangular cabochon plaque, with depiction of front of box 21 [Carter 21], double scene of Tutankhamun as sphinx trampling enemies.
  • Opaque yellow-coloured pressed glass, design highlighted in green and red.
  • Not indicated, but almost certainly produced by the Neiger Brothers.

Brooch: cartouche with uraei

  • Tutankhamun-related jewellery.
  • Brooch, Tutankhamun’s cartouche in centre, crowned by disk and crescent moon, with uraeus on either side of cartouche.
  • Silvertone metal decorated with enamel (light and dark blue, and red).
  • Probably 1970s or slightly later.

Pendant: scarab, cartouche and uraei

  • Tutankhamun-related jewellery.
  • Pendant in the shape of a double-sided scarab, raised design on body with Tutankhamun’s cartouches in centre between uraei.
  • Probably silver, not hallmarked.
  • Probably 1920s, or perhaps later reuse of an original 1920s design.
  • Manufacturer, not known.
