Saqqara. Pyramid of Pepi (Pepy) I. Caption reads: 'In Pyramid of Pepi, part of 478. In the wall is built in, as a common stone, a slab with clumsy figures on it, badly colored; this is the only known example of aprentice's practise, of which so much was required.'
Dahshur. South Pyramid (Bent Pyramid) of Snofru (Snefru). Caption reads: 'Side of doorway of South pyramid of Dahshûr. Shewing pivot hole on which the flapdoor turned [drawing]. This explains Strabo's saying the Gt Pyramid was closed by a stone which could be taken out.'
Dahshur. South Pyramid (Bent Pyramid) of Snofru (Snefru). Caption reads: 'Casing at N.E. corner of S. pyramid Dahshûr. Shewing the courses to be slightly inclined.'
Hawara. Labyrinth of Amenemhet III. Caption reads: 'Probable site of the Labyrinth. The ground covered several feet deep in chips of fine white stone from a destroyed building; underlaid by pavement'
Biahmu (Biyahmu). Colossi of Amenemhat (Amenemhet) III, bases/pedestals. Caption reads: 'S.W. corner of W. pile; with enclosure of E. pile in distance. Stones in front seem to shew a paving of the enclosed courts surrounding the piles.'

Biahmu (Biyahmu). Colossi of Amenemhat (Amenemhet) III, bases/pedestals. Caption reads: 'N.W. corner of W. pile, with stones in enclosure, and edge of it. These stones are the highest that exist between the walls and the piles; and therefore the best evidence that there is for a continuous pyramid.'
