Saqqara affair: documentation

Howard Carter's documentation relates to the so-called "Saqqara affair" (Saqqara incident; Sakkarah incident; Sakkara) which led to Carter's resignation from the Egyptian Antiquities Service in 1905.

  • Copy of Carter's resignation letter.
